Sara Claes Schmidt (born 1949)

In the interview, Schmidt about their upbringing in Sweden. They early became part of a secret, hidden network for trans persons, and with time started to be active in the Swedish LGBT organization RFSL. Schmidt describes themselves as biologically male, with a male body, while their mental gender is something else.  

In this excerpt from the interview they talk about how they have openly and boldly taken on any discussion with those who have confronted them. To the question "Are you a man or a woman?", they always answer "Human".
