Vigdis Bunkholdt (b. 1936) is one of the pioneers of the Norwegian queer movement. She served on the board of the Norwegian National Association for Lesbians and Gays (DNF-48) for three terms between 1958 and 1962. A clinical psychologist by profession, Bunkholdt has authored several widely used textbooks in the field.

In 1973, she met her future wife, Solveig Askjem. Over the years, the couple has been interviewed numerous times in the media and are affectionately known as “the ladies from Svensenga.” In the spring of 2016, Skeivt arkiv interviewed Bunkholdt, who shared insights into queer life in Oslo during the 1950s.
